Love lingers the night after,
It takes you away, after it’s gone
Along the line, you chose.
Another breaking, another night.

The new moon rose,
Another darkness out of the dark
Another night without light
And no beam will pierce the fog.

Going is gone,
When word reached home
Another broken heart bursts forth.
Lost and alone, She reaches for LOVE.

Prayers never heard,
Don’t reach deaf ears.
The father above is Love
Throughout the loveless world

The new moon will set
And darkness will leave.
A piercing light will come
And dispel the fog.

Love will find you,
And fill the void in your heart.
Love will heal the wounded heart,
As a new day dawns.
